I have done Kundalini yoga with Patwant for more than seven years now after trying many different types of yoga and teachers prior to that. I have also in the past seven years tried other Kundalini yoga classes/teachers and no one matches her knowledge, her music, her calming voice, her grace, her intuition and her absolute love of what she does that transcends onto her students. Her followers, like me, remain loyal to her. In trying to join her classes three times weekly, I look forward to and need each and every class, which brings healing, joy, calm and grounding. I have been taking weekly yoga classes with Patwant for the past nine years and it has become an absolutely essential part of my self-care and health regime. Patwant has a warm, engaging, therapeutic presence and teaches by example, as opposed to instructing in an overly corrective manner. In this way, she encourages individual responsibility for the yoga practice. Her style of teaching is spiritually inspiring, unconditionally accepting and non-intrusive.
